More crazy events keep 2016 on track wtih its ever uneven tone.
Much has been made by the Trump camp over it's win in the New York Republican primary. But the bigger revelation may be how few Republicans there are in New York. Trump actually scored a couple hundred thousand more votes when he came in #2 in Texas than he did this week's first place NY primary finish.
Too many Americans still expect to be saved, both personally, and as a nation, by a political messiah. There are no messiahs this election cycle, only candidates trading on various shades of gray. Have you seen the video circulating of a "generic presidential candidate" campaign ad?
Don't get sucked into overly emoting your poltical decisions.
Meanwhile, simple preps intended to counter any upcoming unpleasantness or service disruptions continue to be a sound strategy to keep life on track. Even simple things taken for granted as recently as a decade ago may now be hard to come by.
