This presidential election cycle has illustrated that we (as Black people) are going about the political process all wrong. We should not be voting based on the perception that Donald Trump is some sort of a boogeyman, but asking what any of these candidates are going to do for Black people. Whether the candidate is Republican or Democrat, we need to demand polices that will benefit Black people. We need to stop thinking we shouldn't ask for anything. We also should drop the whole "Lesser of two evils" BS. It is time we stop voting based on fear, but for Black Empowerment.
