A message of empowerment, not victimhood, is what this culture needs. It's what is sorely needed within the black community in particular. The left continues to push victimhood, as if doing so is doing blacks favors. Democratic presidential candidates Sen. Bernie Sanders and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have been on the campaign trail discussing their vision for blacks. The problem is their vision does not empower; it perpetuates victimhood, and that's the plan. By validating victimhood, Democrats ensure that they remain in power. It's time to see the truth--and to rise up in spite of the obstacles we face. Let's discuss this.
Let's also discuss what's going on in the Republican race for president. We will take a look at last Saturday's debate in South Carolina ahead of next Saturday's primary there.
