A five-year veteran of Oregon politics, Caitie Butler brings a diverse range of communications
experience in federal, state and local campaigns and issues. In her role as Communications
Director for the Oregon Senate Republican caucus, Caitie acts as the voice for 12 state
senators as diverse as the rugged Oregon landscape and people they represent. This involves
drafting a variety of content, distributing press materials, building relationships with the media
and pitching stories to publications across the state and region. She also manages all social and
digital media for the caucus and many members.
Prior to her current role, Caitie served as Political Director for The Leadership Fund, a political
action committee (PAC) of the Oregon Senate Republicans. She oversaw the strategic
development and execution of six targeted state senate races costing as much as $1 million
each.
Caitie has also consulted on public relations and public affairs campaign for clients such as
Walmart, Sustainable Forest Initiative, Oregon Bankers Association, Alliance for Northwest Jobs
and Exports, Pacific Northwest International Trade Association, and nonprofits including 4Word
Women, YoungLife, and Ruvheneko Trust (Zimbabwe). She began her career as a Legislative
Aide in the Oregon legislature.
