Hours after last weeks election, the conservative wing of the Republican Party started their backlash cries of voter fraud, urban upheaval and minority giveaways. Gracious losers would have taken note of their situation while forming new strategies to collaborate and succeed the next time. Not the Republicans. Their sudden acknowledgement of diversity has made them angrier and more defiant than ever. President Obamas popular vote margin was more than George W Bush in 2004. And his electoral victory was decisive at 332 to Romneys 206.So with those numbers, why cant Republicans accept the fact that the billions of dollars spent on negative campaigning yielded little return on their investment? The real winner was diversity, signaling a resounding wake up call to America that every vote counts, whether it be Black, White, Latino, Arab, Native American or Asian.Today well look closely at why diversity is defeating the Republican Party, and what they need to do to stop the bleeding.
