A marksman or sharpshooter, and expert rifleman, is a person who is skilled, and qualified in precision shooting, using projectile weapons, usually with a rifle but most commonly with a designated marksman rifle or, in the employment as a sniper, a sniper rifle, to shoot at long range targets.
