This week has been the most revealing week for our governments dirty laundry in a long time. Where to even begin? IRS head says the American public no longer trust the IRS. Newsflash: Its not just the IRS that we dont trust. Wiretapping everything -- Big Brother is watching, and Big Brother is angry you know it. Annoying police is a felony? It might be soon, in New York. The US Supreme Court says its A-OK to have your DNA put into a national crime database, even if youre not convicted of a crime. The FBI doesnt need a warrant to spy on you. Media locked out of the Bradley Manning (wikileaks) trial. Dont worry, youll get your rights back when the wars over. Meanwhile, the War on Terror is declared to be of indefinite duration. All the while, Kentuckys retailers say things arent so good. ACLU shows blacks more likely to be arrested for possession of marijuana than whites, while the public wants far less nasty punishments than what are given for possession. And dental decay is the new "health crisis"; those darned first-world problems. Ken Moellman discusses liberty issues in Kentucky.
