What a crazy week. First we continue to see President Obama fell into the debt debate trap as opposed to the employment debate. We get the selection of a Latin American pope who believes strongly in humility, social, and economic justice, a tenet that will have many call him a socialist. A state Republican Congressman accidentally told a truth we all knew about, it is “good Republican politics to oppose the black guy in the white house”. A Republican Senator comes out in favor of gay marriage after his own son comes out as gay; a lack of empathy for others but the desire of sympathy for his own.
